About the Event
This event is free, but we encourage donations to POG: $5 general, $3 students.
Rachel Galvin’s most recent poetry collection is Uterotopia, published by Persea Books in January 2023. She is also the author of Elevated Threat Level, a finalist for the National Poetry Series, and Pulleys & Locomotion. She is a co-founder of Outranspo, an international creative translation collective.
Daniel Borzutzky is a poet and translator in Chicago. His most recent book is Written After a Massacre in the Year 2018. His 2016 collection, The Performance of Becoming Human received the National Book Award.
Sara Sams is a writer and translator from Oak Ridge, Tennessee, currently teaching Creative Writing at U Arizona. She is Poetry Editor for Identity Theory, and is the author of Atom City.
POG Poetry Readings are free & open to all, though we do request a $5 donation in support of POG programs, $3 for students. No one is turned away for lack of ability to pay.
Light refreshment available at the reading.
POG events are supported by the Arizona Commission on the Arts, by Poets&Writers, and by many contributions from individuals.
