David Weiss is the Assistant Director at Chax Press & serves on the board of POG, a community poetry & arts organization, both located in Tucson Arizona. His recent poems have appeared in the journals BlazeVOX & Alienocene. David’s book length poem In Memoriam: in enquiry was published by Chax Press in early 2022.

A self-described inveterate reader, he claims no authority or expertise. Instead, he prefers to emphasize the essential heterogenous community that makes the often solitary tradition of writing poetry a joyous one.

This  reading will take part at 4pm Arizona Time, it will not be live streamed but will part of the Tucson Festival of Books. A video recording of this event will uploaded to our YouTube channel within a day or two of the event.

RSVP isn't required to attend but helps us to gage the interest of our community.
