About the Event

This reading will take place at 7pm in-person at Saint Andrews Episcopal Church, 545 S. 5th St.

George Quasha is an American artist and poet who works across media, exploring language, sculpture, drawing, video art, sound and music, installation, and performance. His recent books include Not Even Rabbits Go Down This Hole, Scorned Beauty, and Axial Stones: An Art of Precarious Balance.

Andrew Periale is a poet, playwright, and puppeteer who edits the journal Puppetry International. Author of three chapbooks and the poetry collection That Sunday at Adelle’s by Sparhawk Press. His Mano-a-Monolog show combines poetry with puppetry and gives voice to characters who are by turns comic, thoughtful, eerie, and poignant (recommended for ages 13 and up). Selected vignettes from the show will be presented.

A video recording of this event will uploaded to our YouTube channel within a day or two of the event.
