A Moveable Beast

POG: Arts of Tucson is excited to host A Moveable Beast at UR Salon. It’s an Innovative, multidisciplinary, inter-generational, curated open-mic. That’s a mouthful! How this works is POG’s inviting artists, musicians, & poets from a wide array of identities, practices, preoccupations, etc. to talk &/or perform for about 15 minutes. These 15-minute acts are interspersed with 5-minute performances from members of the audience. Our hope is to create a community space where everyone can share & experience new & wonderful works of art.

The first A Moveable Beast will take place on May 20 at 8pm, with additional events on the third Friday of every month: July 17th, July 15th, & August 19th.

Event is free, $5 suggested donation.

Light refreshment is provided.

Come early to sign up for the open-mic as slots are limited.

Please wear a mask when near others or indoors.
